Grasshoppers isn't a conventional nursery and we are looking for more than a conventional Nursery Manager. We are looking for an exceptional, appropriately qualified early-years leader to help shape what comes next.

The Nursery Manager will:

• lead and inspire the Grasshoppers team;
• ensure excellent standards of early-years care, safeguarding and education;
• take responsibility for the nursery's day-to-day operation;
• strengthen links across Overbury;

The Position

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, including:

• Working independently or as part of a team 
• Responding to reactive repairs and maintenance issues, including plumbing, water leaks, carpentry repairs and investigations.
• Carrying out cyclical pre-paint repairs.
• Assisting with monitoring/maintaining our private water supply
• Helping maintain the high standards across our properties and facilities

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on gardener, with experience of working within a small team in a similar setting. You will work closely with the head gardener and forward-thinking team on the day to day management of the gardens and green areas across Overbury.

Job Requirements

• Eye for detail
• Machinery experience (ride on mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers and tractor driving)
• PA1, PA6 (desirable)
• CS30, 31 (desirable)
• Full clean driving license

Occasionally there are houses available to rent in Overbury so we might be able to help if relocating.
